Using this induction principle, the dynamic microphone uses a wire coil, magnet, and a thin diaphragm to capture the audio signal. The diaphragm is attached to thecoil. When the diaphragm vibrates in response to incoming sound waves, the coilmoves backwards and forwards past the magnet.

THE VOICE COIL IS SITUATED IN THE MAGNETIC FIELD.THE DIAPHRAGM CONNECTED TO THE VOICE COIL VIBRATES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SOUND WAVES FALLING ON IT.AS A RESULT ELECTRICAL SIGNALS CORRESSPONDING TO THE SOUND WAVES ARE GENERATED IN THE VOICE COIL.IN THE MICROPHONE ,MECHANICAL ENERGY IS CONVERTED TO ELECTRICAL ENERGY.
