Multiple cropping acts as an insurance against failure of crops in abnormal weather conditions.The risk of total crop failure due to uncertain monsoon is reduced if two crops of a different nature are grown simultaneously as a mixed crop.

The cultivation of two or more thn two crops in many seasons on the same piece of land is known as multiple cropping... It is an insurance against crop failure because sometimes due to bad weather the crops of farmer are being damaged but in the case of multiple cropping if ur one crop is damaged u will get profit from other crop,,,
