Myopia and hypermetropia are the defects of vision.
In myopia,the focal length of eye decreases so we cannot see distant objects
In hypermetropia,the focal length of eye gets increased so we cannot see near objects.

Myopia:-
1.Its another name is near sightedness.
2. In this defect of eye we are not able to see objects properly which are far from our eyes.
3. In such an eye ,the light rays from a distant object,arriving at tge eye lens ,get converged at a point in front of the retina.
Hypermetropia:-
1. Its another name is far sightedness.
2. In this defect of eye we are nit able ti see objects near to our eyes properly.
3. In such a defect the image of a nearby object gets formed behind tge retina.
