The condition in which a person can see nearby things clearly but finds it difficult to see the far of things distinctly, is called myopia. It mainly occurs due to the following reasons

-excessive converging of the eye lens

-due to the eye balls becomes too long.

It can be corrected by using a concave lens with suitable power.
