Hey mate here is your answer》》

Myopia, or nearsightedness, is a refractive error, which means that the eye does not bend or refract light properly to a single focus to see images clearly. In myopia, close objects look clear but distant objects appear blurred. Myopia is a common condition that affects an estimated 25 percent of Americans.

Hope this answer will help you..《《

myopia is a type of eye disease .
also known as short sightedness.
it is a type of defect due to which the eye is not able to see the distant objects clearly.
though it can see the nearby objects clearly.

causes
a. decreases of focal length of the eye lens tha is the eye lens became more convergent
b. elongation of the eye ball, that is the increased length of the eye ball.

correction
corrected by the use spectacles with the concave lens of suitable focal length.
