Myopia, Also known as near-sightedness. A myopic person can clearly see objects near by but cannot see objects at a distance. In Myopia, the crystalline lens of the eye has a small focal length (f). It can be corrected using a concave lens.
Hypermetropia is also known as far-sightedness. A hypermetropic person can clearly see objects at a distance but cannot see objects nearby. The crystalline lens of the eye has a longer focal length (f). It can be corrected using a convex lens.
