In Evaporation the molecules of the liquid having high kinetic energy then the average kinetic energy per molecule of the liquid escape from the surface by escaping from the intermolecular forces. Hence strong the intermolecular force more kinetic energy for the molecule will be required to break the intermolecular forces in order to evaporate. Therefore evaporation rate will be slower.
