Nazism - Basically it was the ideology of the Nazi Party led by Hitler.
Interest of a single ethnic group is one and same, irrespective of social or religious difference. The concerns of this single ethnic group is of paramount concern and should be protected from outside influences from people who are not part of that (In German context, Jews and Slavs).
It was a form of facism that incorporates scientific racism.
Reasons of popularity.
Hitler was a very good speaker .
He used propaganda to project him as a saviour. Infact he had appointed a propaganda minister also.
When Germany was very vulnerable because of unemployment Hitler promised work and bread’ if they voted for him. As more and more people lost their jobs, more and more votes were cast to the Nazi
Infact the seeds of Hitler domination had been shown in the Treaty of Versailles inn1919 which had humiliated Germany a lot.
