The following are the necessary conditions for geostationary satellite:
1 The period of revolution of artificial satellite should be equal to the period of rotation of earth.( it should be equal to 24 hrs)
2. The satellite must travel eastward.
3. orbital must be circular.
4. The inclination of orbit must be zero.
the satellite is revolved at a height of 35,800km from surface of planet.
