What is nematoda? Explain the classification of phylum nematoda with its characteristics?

It is fourth phylum of classification of Kingdom Animilia.

Characteristics of Nematoda : -

1) Bilateral symmetry

2) Triploblastic

3) False coelum.

4) They are parasitic worms.

5)Ex Ascaridida etc

Nematodes or round worms are the organisms with a cylindrical, thin and unsegmented body which mainly includes parasitic worms

CHARACTERISTICS :

(i) Nematodes are unsegmented , long and cylindrical.

(ii) Have two body openings i.e one for food and other to pass out excretion.

(iii) Have seperate sexes wuth different appearance.

Examples : Ascaris , Liverfluke
