HEYA!!!
Nephrone
___________
Structure
____________
Each nephrone consist of a long coiled tubule closed atvone end and and open at other end.At the clossed end ,the wall of nephrone is expanded and folded into double walled cup called Bowman's capsule. The space between the walls is called capsular space. The kidney recieves blood from renal artery.A branch of renal artery enters the bowman's capsule and gets divided into small branches forming a bunch of capillaries. The bunch of capillaries in the bowman's capsule is called glomerulus. The capillaries of glomerulus reunite to form a vessel which leaves the capsule. The vessels repeatedly branches forrming a network of capillaries around tubular portion of the nephrone. They unite and lead into the renal vein.Leading from the Bowman's capsule is a very long tubule. The lumen of this tubule is continuous with the capsular space. Each nephrone opens into a collecting duct which recieves urine from a number of nephrons.
Functions
_____________
० Filters impurities from blood.
० Absorbs essential nutrients back to the blood from the glomerular filtrate.
० Balances the amount of salt and water in the body.
