neutralisation reaction is the reaction between two compounds base and acid to give two new compounds salt and water by interchange of radicals. ex Na + OH +H+Cl

Example of Neutralization Reaction:-

(1) NaOH (base)+ HCl (acid)--> NaCl (salt)+ H2O (water)

(2) During indigestion:-

Mg(OH)2 + 2HCl --> MgCl2 + 2H2O
