Neutralization is the reaction in which acid and base react forming salt and water.
Eg:NaOH+HCl react to form NaCl + H2O
NaCl is a salt. NaOH-- base HCl--acid

NEAUTRALIZATION means a reaction between an acid and a base that
yields with the salt and water is known as NEAUTRALIZATION.
in the process of NEAUTRALIZATION,both acid and basic qualities are destroyed.
salts need not always be neutral, they can also be acidic (or) basic.
NEUTRALIZATION is used in various fields in our daily life.......
they are applied in agriculture, industries, health and even at home also...
examples of NEATRALIZATION
BAKING POWER....
(i) Baking powder helps cakes to rise(ii) It contains sodium hydrogen carbonate (bicarbonate of soda) and a weak acid.(iii) When the water is added, both water and the sodium hydrogen react.(iv) The reaction is like an acid acting on a carbonate.(v) This gives out carbon dioxide, which raises the cake. Baking Powder(i) Baking powder helps cakes to rise(ii) It contains sodium hydrogen carbonate (bicarbonate of soda) and a weak acid.(iii) When the water is added, both water and the sodium hydrogen react.(iv) The reaction is like an acid acting on a carbonate.(v) This gives out carbon dioxide, which raises the cake.
