Newton second law of motion--- According to old view , The force applied on the body is equal to the product of mass of body and acceleration of body.
But According to modern view , change in momentum is directly promotional to the applied force.

Some examples are ------

• A fielder while catching a fast moving cricket ball gradually pulls his hands backwards with the moving ball.

• A boxer moves his head backwards when his opponent blows a punch on his face.
