Actually to start with I want to let u know that nipah virus is firstly observed in Malaysia....and in India recently about 10-11 people died due to this virus and one of them is the nurse who is treating a patient.
In India it's not the first time...in 2007 it's symptoms also shown to some people of west Bengal.....and about the cause of this virus....it's primary source is fruit bats.....and intermediate source can be pig, horse, dogs etc....it can also be transferred from human to human..... I think u get a gist about nipah virus.....there is lot to learn about this.....no vaccine is available to treat this.......be safe.......
thanks
