Now if a Guy is HONEST , he is honest towards the oath he took while joining the service, he is honest towards his principles, If the Guy quits he is Nothing but a LOSER , had any one be honest, he wouldn't quit, he would continue his service even if it means death to him, honesty cannot be adjusted as per the pressure the person faces, An honest IAS officer may be suspended/ridiculed/framed but the day he will die, he'll still be honest and he'll have a sense of accomplishment when he dies, HONESTY is Always the BEST Policy. 
HAd Mahatma Gandhi/Netaji(Not Mulayam Yadav)/Bhagat Singh/Numerous Freedom Fighters not been honest to the core you wouldn't have been asking the question on Quora and i wouldn't have been writing the answer, didn't they feel atrocities of British, weren't they pressurized ? But Did they Quit?- You know the Answer.
