Answer:

The nitrogen cycle is the biogeochemical cycle by which nitrogen is converted into multiple chemical forms as it circulates among atmosphere, terrestrial, and marine ecosystems. The conversion of nitrogen can be carried out through both biological and physical processes.

The nitrogen cycle is the process where nitrogen is recycled through both living and non-living things, such as the atmosphere, soil, water, plants, animals, and bacteria.

In order to move through the different parts of the cycle, nitrogen must change forms. Nitrogen is absorbed from the soil by plant roots to help produce chlorophyll for photosynthesis, and when those plants are consumed by herbivores, which use it to form proteins that build up muscle tissue. The same thing goes for carnivores when they eat an herbivore. When the carnivore dies, the nitrogen gets recycled back into the soil, where the plants absorb it again.

I hope this helps :)
