Noble gases are those gases which have their octet complete and are very highly stable. Example: Neon, Argon.

Explanation:

Few properties of noble gas are the following:

1. These gases fall under group number 18 of the periodic table.

2. These gases are very stable and do not react with any other chemicals. Hence, they show very low reactive rates.

3. Because of the reason of high stability and low rate of reactivity of noble gases, these are also called inert gas.

4. They have complete number of electrons in their outer shell. Hence, they are known to complete octet.

5. The physical property of noble gas is that these gases are odorless as well as colorless.

6. They are very likely to form chemical bonds because of their octet. They do not gain or loss any number of electrons.

7. These gases are of very great use in forming or producing inert environment which helps in protecting specimens and to perform works like cutting, welding, and many more.

8. Examples of noble gases are: Argon, Krypton, Neon, Xenon, Radon.
