THE DISCARDED MATERIAL OF NUCLEAR INDUSTRY IS CALLED NUCLEAR WASTE SUCH AS REMAINS IN THE CONTAINERS USED TO HANDLE RADIO ACTIVE SUBSTANCES OR RADIO ACTIVE PRODUCTS OF NUCLEAR REACTIONS

THESE POSSESS RADIOACTIVITY WHICH EMIT PARTICLES CAPABLE OF DAMAGING MAN, ANIMAL AND PLANT TISSUES

IT CANNOT BE DESTROYED BY CHEMICAL OR OTHER METHODS

IT HAS TO BE BURIED SOME WHERE DEEP UNDER THE EARTH

THIS IS NOT PERFECTLY SAFE AS THERE ARE CHANCES OF RADIATIONS EMITTED BY NUCLEAR WASTES

Thank you!!
Hope you it will help!!

nuclear waste is the waste produced during nuclear fission or fusion.Nuclear waste is very harmful as it contains chemical which can damage of skin and other organs .After the usable uranium is gone from the rods, the rods must be disposed of. But first, the rods are often processed with chemicals to draw out any unused uranium; this results in HLW, which is liquid waste. Then the rods are usually stored in pools of water near the reactor until a permanent location is prepared.
