Nucleus is the most important part of an living cell. It is the living part of an cell. Nucleus is control centre of a cell. It is covered by a double layered enveloped called nuclear membrane.The nuclear membrane has pores which allow the transfer of material from inside the nucleus to cytoplasm.Inside the nuclear membrane an entangled mass of thread like structure is present.This is called Chromatin material.

He Chromatin material mainly formed of DNA and proteins. When a cell starts to divide,Chromatin material condenses into rod-shaped structures contain stretches of DNA which are called Genes.
