when dil.hcl is added to sodium carbonate the observation can be shown with following reaction:-
Na2CO3+2HCl=2NaCl+H2O+CO2
It is observed that when the sodium carbonate reacts with dil. HCl then sodium chloride salt is formed,water is released along with CO2.
