OHM's Law:
Ohm's law states that current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional the potential difference applied across its ends.

I α V
.·. V=IR
R= Constant of propotionality

SI unit of potential difference=Volt
SI unit of current=Ampere
SI unit of resistance=Ohm

Hence,
1 Ohm= \frac{1 Volt}{1 Ampere}
