__________________________________________________________

Ohm's law used to defined the relation between potential difference , current and resistance in a conductor

i.e. V=IR

We can verify it by the following activity....

____________________________________________________________

Material required :

@A resistor of about 5 Ω

@An ammeter

@A Voltmeter

@Some Dry Cells  of 1.5 V  each

@A  plug key

@Connecting wires

@A piece of sand paper

____________________________________________________________

Procedure :

@Arrange the apparatus

@Clean the ends of the connecting wires with sand paper

@All connections must be neat and tight

@Connect the ammeter and voltmeter

@Determine the zero error and least count of the ammeter and voltmeter

Ohms law states that a current through a conductor between two points is directly proportional to the voltage across the two points.

V/I= constant = R or V:I = Constant = R.

V = Voltage , I = Current, R = Resistance
