A function f: A → B is said to be one-one function if no two distinct elements of A have the same image in B. Eg: let f: R to R be defined by f(x) = 3x + 2. Then f is a one-one mapping. Sol: for x1 ≠ x2 or f(x1) ≠ f(x2)
