OPTICAL GLASS :-

IT IS USED FOR MAKING LENSES ,PRISMS AND OPTICAL INSTRUMENT LIKE TELESCOPE AND MICROSCOPE .IT CONTAINS NORIC ACID( B2O3) .

ITS HAVE TWO TYPES :-

CROWN GLASS :-
CONTAINS K2O AND BaO AS THE BASIC OXIDE.

FLINT GLASS :- CONTAIN PbO AS THE BASIC OXIDE.

optical glass :- it is glass in which to used to makings lenses , prism and optical instrument like telescope and micro scope


he contain boric oxide (B2O3 )
and silica (so2)
