=>Here is ur Answer<=

Orographic rain is a rain fall occurred as a result of orographic effects. When the flow of air is interrupted by mountains or hills will cause to raise the wind. That will make disturbance in the weather system and produce orographic clouds. The sun will heats the mountains or hills and cause to warm the air rises above it. Then the warmed air raises over the top and then cool it to produce water as rain. That is known as orographic rain.

Orographic rainfall is rain that is produced from the lifting of moist air over a mountain.

Orographic precipitation, rain, snow, or other precipitation produced when moist air is lifted as it moves over a mountain range. As the air rises and cools, orographic clouds form and serve as the source of the precipitation, most of which falls upwind of the mountain ridge. Some also falls a short distance downwind of the ridge and is sometimes called spillover. On the lee side of the mountain range, rainfall is usually low, and the area is said to be rain shadow. Very heavy precipitation typically occurs upwind of a prominent mountain range that is oriented across a prevailing wind from a warm ocean.
