Addition of oxygen and removal of hydrogen is commonly termed as Oxidization.

So If oxidization occurs,There we see the nature of oxidizing.

In chemistry,an oxidising agent is a substance that has the ability to oxidise other substances.

In other words,To cause them to loose their electrons.

Common oxidising agents are OXYGEN{O2},HYDROGEN{H2} and HALOGENS..etc
