OZONE LAYER IS A LAYER MADE UP OF OZONE GAS IN THE STRATOSPHERE. OZONE IS A THREE MOLECULAR OXYGEN. IT PREVENTS UV RAY'S FROM ENTERING THE ATMOSPHERE.

⏺This is the layer of ozone (O3) surrounded by the earth it protects the Earth from harmful radiations like high energy ultraviolet radiations.

⏺When the harmful Chemicals like chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) are released into the air it accumulates in the upper atmosphere and reacts with Ozone resulting in reduction of the Ozone Layer by forming a hole.

⏺Thus, the Ozone layer in the atmosphere becomes thinner and gets depleted allowing more and ultraviolet rays to pass through the earth
