Polyethylene Terephthalate is the full form of PET. It is a thermoplastic, included in polyester family. This is used in fibres for making containers. Example :- plastic bottles, plastic plates, plastic bowls, plastic tiffin. ..etc. these things are generally made up of PET. Two monomers—modified ethylene glycol and purified terephthalic acid—are combined to form the polymer called polyethylene terephthalate.
