Parasitic nutrition is a mode of heterotrophic nutrition where a parasitic organism lives on the body surface or inside the body of another type of organism (a host) and gets nutrition directly from the body of the host. Since these parasites derive nourishment from their host
Example- Tapeworm, fluke are two examples.

In parasitic nutrition, an organism lives on or inside another living organism and derives its food. The organism that derives food from the other living organism is called parasite and the organism from whom food is derived is called host.
for e.g leech is an ectoparasite .They either live on the host body or attach temporarily to suck the blood.
