If a force of 1 newton is exerted on an area 1m^2, then the pressure applied is said to be 1 pascal. The S.I unit of pressure is Pascal.

Pascal is unit of pressure in the SI system of units .One pascal is equivalent to one newton (1N) of force applied over an area of meter square .
