WHEN THE VERB SPEAKS OF ITS SUBJECT OF BEING ACTED UPON OR HAVING SOMETHING DONE TO IT,IT IS SAID TO BE IN THE PASSIVE VOICE.
EG:A LETTER WAS WRITTEN BY HER.
