pasteurisation is a process in which packaged and non-packaged foods are treated with mild heat, usually to less than 100 °C, to eliminate pathogens and extend shelf life.

Pasteurisation was invented by a French scientist called Louis Pasteur during the nineteenth century. Pasteurisation is the partial sterilizition of a product such as milk or wine to make it safe for consumption and improves it’s keeping quality
