Heya!!!

Females have the ability to produce ovum(egg), so that the species don't get extinct

in the body of the female, there is a special tissue named placenta. This placenta provides nutrition to the developing embryo when it is present in the mother's body

Placenta:it is a tissue which is very rich in blood vessels and it also helps in attachment of the embryo to the mother's body. It also helps in transportation of various substances between the mother and the embryo

it is also known as the lining of uterus

The ovum has 2 fates:

  • when this egg gets fertilised then it results in the formation of a fertilised egg capable of giving rise to a new offspring

  • but when the egg doesn't get fertilised, then the lining of the placenta breaks down

now as the uterus is just above the vagina. Thus, the lining of the uterus breaks down and as it is highly rich in blood vessels thus, blood seems to come out of the the female body through vagina

This is known as menstruation in females

it is also known as periods

during this phase the female faces a lot of differences in herself

such as:-

  • blood seeping out of her vagina
  • mood swings
  • pimples
  • acne
  • pain in abdominal cavity and back
