personification is the literary technique of describing objects in such a way that they seem human.when we compare non-living things with persons, like the flowers cannot but they are thought to be dancing.
ex-leaves dancing in mirth

when  things  are compared with humans..like : "flowers are dancing" in this flowers are compared to humans as if dancing but they cant dance, like thunder is roaring, morning wind is greeting.
