Chemicals used to kill pests are called pesticides. They kill the pests without damaging the crops.
However the overuse of pesticides can damage the crop also. If a huge amount of chemical goes inside the soil it makes the soil too acidic or alkaline. This destroys the crop. Also when the crop is eaten by us. we get affected with various diseases.
Two process of getting rid of the pests are:

» Usage of Fungicides
