india is a secular state because it is written in indian preamble

Shivanshugupta: India is a secular state because: There is no official religion of the Indian State.

The Constitution provides to all individuals and communities freedom to profess, practice and propagate any religion, or not to follow any.

The Constitution prohibits discrimination on grounds of religion.

The Constitution allows the state to intervene in the matters of religion in order to ensure equality within religious communities.

Secular state is a state in which their is not any official religions and all religions are equal in our country. And our country India is one of the example of it as we do not give any special status to any religion of our country and we have equal voting rights for every religion..No religion is considered as inferior or superior in our country and it is also written in our preamble of the country.
Also our constitution provides right to profess and propagate any religion .And right to equality provides that all persons are equal in eyes of law despite of any religion, caste, color or creed.
