Pheretima is a genus of earthworm, which is found in soil and feeds on live and dead organic matter. Pheretima is found in South East Asia. Pheretima are hermaphrodite and reproduce sexually or through parthenogenesis.

Phagosome is a type of vesicle (structure within a cell consisting of liquid) formed around the particle which is engulfed by a phagocyte. This phagosome is found in the leukocytes of the Pheretina.
