✧✧Photoelectric Effect✧✧

↝Striking of light of a particular frequency on over metal surface electron get ejected from metal.

↝Electron is also know as Photoelectron and this phenomenon is known as Photoelectric effect.

↝In periodic table top to bottom ionisation energy decreases so photoelectric effect increases.

✧✧Order of Photoelectric✧✧

Li > Na > K > Rb > Cs

Be < Mg < Ca < Sr <Ba

Exception :- Be does not show Photoelectric effect..
