what is photon and quantum?

PHOTON:a quantum of electromagnetic radiation, usually considered as an elementary particle that is its own antiparticle and that has zero rest mass and charge and a spin of one.

QUANTUM:the smallest quantity of radiant energy, equal toPlanck's constant times the frequency of theassociated radiation.the fundamental unit of a quantised physical magnitude, as angular momentum.

A photon is an elementary particle, the quantum of light and all other forms of electromagnetic radiation. It is the force carrier for the electromagnetic force
