from the windows 15m high above the ground ina streat the angle of elevatoin and depration of the top and bottom of another house 30 degree and 45 degree respectivily. show that the height of opposite house is 23.66m?

height of building = AB = (n+m) = ?
distance between the buildings = x

In triangle AOW,
tan 45 = (15/x)
⇒ 1 = 15/x
⇒ x = 15m

In triangle WCB
tan 30 = m/x
⇒ 1/√3 = m/15
⇒ m = 15/√3 = 5√3 = 8.66m

Height of building = m+n = 15+8.66 = 23.66 m
