mean = 55/10 = 5.5
There are 10 numbers.
Median is the average of 5th and 6th data items.
=> median = (5+6)/2 = 5.5
We have the formula : Mean - Mode = 3 ( mean - median ) OR,
Mode = 3 Median - 2 Mode = 5.5
=> Mode = 5.5
This data is symmetrically distributed about the mean 5.5.
As all the data items are appearing only once, mode could be taken as any. But we take the Karl Pearson's rule
