Explanation:

Plants take nutrients from soil via their roots. The roots have root hairs which absorb water and other essential nutrients which go up to the leaves by xylem cells. In the leaves these raw material is synthesised with the help of sunlight which is trapped by leaves with the help of chrolophyll pigment. there is also a large numpers of minute pores called stomata which help plants in respiration . The stomata take carbon dioxide in and exhales oxygen . With all these raw material plants make their food called startch. This whole process is called photosynthesis .
