Photosynthesis is a physiological process seen in green plants. During this process plants take in carbon dioxide and water and form carbohydrates in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll.
Carbon dioxide is taken in from atmosphere by stomata present on the surface of the leaf.
Water is absorbed by the roots from soil.
Chlorophyll is a green photosynthetic pigment which absorbs radiant light energy.
Further,this light energy is splits water molecules of water into hydrogen and oxygen. In this process, energy in the form ATP is released. This energy is used to reduce carbon dioxide into carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are used by plants to carry their various activities. Carbohydrates, which is not used or utilized by plants is stored in them in the form of starch.
In this way, there are major events like taking in various essential factors (Carbon dioxide, water, sunlight) and conversion of them into products like oxygen and carbohydrates in the presence of chlorophyll takes place.

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :-
PHOTOSYNTHESIS :-
==================
It is a process by which green plants make their food.
° Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and Water (H2O) are the raw material of Photosynthesis.
° Sunlight is need for the Photosynthesis.
° Glucose, Water, Oxygen are the products of Photosynthesis.
SIGNIFICANCE :-
===============
Because of this process plants make food and we get o oxygen from plants which is impotant for us for living.
