Answer:

The physical state of water at 250 degrees Celsius ( 250 ºC) is a gaseous state. As we know that the boiling point of water is 100ºC. After attaining the boiling temperature the water will be in a gaseous state as it changes into vapors and boiling occurs. So the physical state of water at 250 ºC is gaseous state.

(a)

The boiling point of water is 100°C.So, the physical state of water at a temperature of 250°C (Which is much above it's boiling point) will be 'gaseous state'.

(B)

The physical state of water at its boiling point temperature of 100°C will be both 'liquid state' as well as 'gaseous state'. This is because at its boiling point (of 100°C), the liquid state of water starts changing into its gaseous state (Steam).

Hope this helps uh :)
