Pistil is the female reproductive part of a flower that helps in reproduction of the plants by dispersion of seeds. The flower is said to be bisexual if it has both stamen and pistil. The stamen or male part of the flower transfer pollen grains that carry genetic code of plant to pistil by carries such as bee, wind etc ,and it started the process of the fertilisation that form seeds and then plants need to disperse seeds . By that female parts of plants plays an important role in the existence of that plants special. There may be another flower 's stamen transfer pollen grain to another flower pistil ,this created new species of the plant .Another name for pistil is Carpel.
