What is Placenta?Describe its structure.State its function in case of a pregnant human female.

placenta is a disc shaped tissue in females. It nourishes the Foetus or the baby in the mothers womb.

It bring Oxygen to the baby and takes carbon dioxide back from the baby.

It takes care of the nourishment of the baby and takes back the waste from the Foetus

Placenta is a disc shaped structure between the uterine wall of mother and embryo.

it is so useful to give nutrition to the foetus

it is also useful to remove the nitrogenous waste from the foetus to the Mother's blood.

oxygen is travelled to the foetus through placenta .
