Plasma is considered as a fourth state of matter. The other three states are solid, liquid and gas. Plasma is the combination of protons, neutrons and electrons where protons carry a positive charge, electrons carry a negative charge. in this the electrons are loosely held together from their respective molecules and atoms which make plasma to act as a whole rather than acting as an atom. plasma is more  similar to a gas than any other state of matter  because atoms are not in a constant contact with each other but it acts differently than the gas . Plasma has collective behavior means a plasma can flow like a liquid.
