it is obtained by heating gypsum it is used in hind fractures as a plaster.

plaster of paris is obtained by heating gypsum.
( Caso4.2H20 ) .
⭐ the chemical formula of plaster of paris is
( Caso4.1/2 H20 ) .
⭐✴✴ it is of white in colour.
✴✴ plaster of paris is used for:-
1) making blackboard Chalk s.
2) it is used for plastering the fractured bone.
and keep the joint in fixed position.
3) it is used for making cost of a statue , toy and decorative object.
4) it is also used for sealing the air gap in container.
the chemical reaction take place in plaster of paris is:-
(Caso4 )2.H20 ----------∆--------> Caso4 .1/2 H20 . + 3/2 H20 .
