⇒A meiocyte is a type of cell that differentiates into gamete by the process known as meiosis.

⇒Through meiosis, the diploid meiocyte divides into four genetically different haploid gametes.

⇒meiocyte   are always diploid and contain 23 pairs of chromosome and gametes are haploid contain only 23 chromosome.
